An Opportunity to Make a Lasting Impact
Over the course of 15 weeks, our educational and interactive programming focuses on emerging leaders at all stages. Fellows also have an opportunity to develop ideas in collaboration with local nonprofits that can truly impact the community.

Conversations That Will Move You
Our engaging weekly sessions bring focus to individual, group and community leadership. Throughout the semester, we shine the spotlight on exceptional storytellers from around central Ohio fostering conversations with participants that are relevant and important.

Community Leaders Who are Accessible
We work diligently to connect participants with one another and with accessible community leaders in business, nonprofit, education, politics and more, as well as the more than 300 alumni who have graduated from the Impact Academy since 2018.
Selection Criteria:
Commitment to a four-month leadership program from September through December with mandatory weekly sessions during the workday, typically for two hours on Friday afternoons (12-2pm or 1-3pm) or Tuesday/Wednesday after-hours (6-8pm)
Commitment to two volunteer opportunities facilitated through the CYP Club’s Leadership Council
Commitment to showing up on time and being present during all sessions
Commitment to Columbus and the growth of our city and region

All participants will also receive a copy of CliftonStrengths (hard cover book and online talent assessment) plus an Impact Academy journal • Most sessions are in-person, with 5 of the 15 sessions offered virtually for convenience (and noted below)
